Clearing Technology

ICE Clear Netherlands® primary clearing systems currently consist of the following integrated systems:

ICE Front-End Clearing (ICE FEC)

A single user interface, offering functions to view and manage trades (update, split, group and adjust), transfers (create, accept/reject and modify), allocations (create, modify and reverse) and claims (accept/reject, update and re-allocate).

Launch FEC

Extensible Clearing System (ECS)

Provides functionality for position maintenance (including close-outs), options exercise and delivery, in addition to cash and collateral management.

Launch ECS

Managed File Transfer System (MFT)

The MFT service is a customer interface that provides access to clearing reports and data files published by ICE Clear Netherlands and submission files submitted by members to ICE Clear Netherlands. All clearing reports and data files are available in a variety of formats to provide members with a flexible range of options for both interactive access and automated system access/download.

The ICE Service Community site has a document that provides specifications for the clearing reports and data files.

Swift

ICE communicates with its payment banks by using the SWIFT communications network and standard form payment messages, which facilitates a high degree of straight-through-processing to the payment bank providers.

ICE Service Community

All user guides and the technical specifications relating to ICE’s Clearing Systems including other specifications, member reports and customer releases are available on the ICE Service Community site. This information is only available to registered users. If you are not already registered on the ICE Service Community, you can sign up at: service.ice.com/s/.
