ICE Clear Netherlands’ primary clearing systems currently consist of the following integrated systems:
Post-Trade Management System (PTMS)
Allows trade review, assignment, updating of trade details, next-day corrections, position transfers and average-price trade processing.
Allocation and Claim Transaction System (ACT)
Provides functions for creating, updating, deleting, accepting, challenging, rejecting and splitting allocations.
Extensible Clearing System (ECS)
Provides functionality for position maintenance (including close-outs), options exercise and delivery, in addition to cash and collateral management.
Managed File Transfer System (MFT)
The MFT service is a customer interface that provides access to clearing reports and data files published by ICE Clear Netherlands and submission files submitted by members to ICE Clear Netherlands. All clearing reports and data files are available in a variety of formats to provide members with a flexible range of options for both interactive access and automated system access/download.
The ICE Community site has a document that provides specifications for the clearing reports and data files which can be found here.
ICE communicates with its payment banks by using the SWIFT communications network and standard form payment messages, which facilitates a high degree of straight-through-processing to the payment bank providers.
