With nearly 20 years of investment in environmental markets, we are the global leader in emissions and renewable energy trading. We additionally offer a range of ESG data and analytics to bring transparency to markets and help our customers uncover opportunities and manage risk.

Gender Equality

We have programs in place to promote gender pay equity and representation throughout our company. Additionally, we established the NYSE Board Advisory Council in 2019 to help increase gender diversity across corporate boards.

Quality Education

Two-thirds of adults globally do not have an understanding of basic financial concepts. This is the key area of focus for our charitable giving which supports programs across the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe and in additional geographies.

Partnership for the Goals

We encourage and support NYSE issuers as they navigate the evolving ESG landscape, including ESG reporting guidance as well as resources and platforms for dialogue between issuers and investors

We are members of the Sustainable Stock Exchange (SSE) Initiative

We are working with others in the commodity markets community to help increase sustainability including through the ICMA Sustainable Finance Committee Working Group Member, our membership in the Global Coffee Platform and as members of a World Federation of Exchanges working group that is looking into the development of sustainability standards for commodity markets and the United Nations Sustainable Stock Exchanges initiative derivatives network.
