SFTI Low Latency Solutions

Low latency access to matching engines and market data has moved from a competitive differentiator to a necessity for many trading applications and firms. We provide a growing list of connection options designed specifically for optimized latency including:

  • SFTI Plus Direct Market Access (DMA) uses low latency, point-to-point circuits and low latency carrier grade switching hardware to provide fast market data as well as order routing without the added latency of a traditional normalized feed. DMA connectivity can be provided in one of our 30 data and access centers or provisioned over our low latency redundant backbone for access at a self-managed facility.
  • SFTI Plus Low Latency Network offers market participants faster transport of market data and order execution services between the NYSE U.S Liquidity Center (USLC) in Mahwah, NJ and the major New York metro area trading hubs of Carteret and Secaucus.
  • SFTI Wireless provides point-to-point connectivity for faster data transfer than any fiber route. Low latency routes are in place between ICE’s Mahwah Data Center and the Carteret and Secaucus liquidity hubs. Through our recent acquisition of Atrium wireless, we have the lowest-latency connection between Toronto and New York and millimeter wave linking Aurora with the NY metro hubs. Choose from raw bandwidth or data services on all routes.

SFTI & SFTI Plus Colocation and Hosting

We offer a range of options for customers with latency sensitive applications requiring space colocated or in close proximity to ICE and non-ICE markets. We provide connectivity infrastructure designed to ensure no local, single point of failure, as well as remote Smart Hands on-site assistance for your hosted equipment within our shared or dedicated racks. This offering includes:

  • Colocation at ICE data centers in the U.S. (Chicago, Illinois, Mahwah, New Jersey), Canada (TMX Markham), and UK (Basildon, Essex) with options ranging from high density powered full cabinets to entry-level partial cabinets.
  • SFTI Plus Hosting Centers in 10 locations across North America and Europe, including racking and cabling services for equipment you choose to host; dedicated and shared cabinet hosting provided.
  • NPL Timing Services that provide accurate timestamping, including for GPS, PTP and NTP as inputs to measure latency in market data and order routing.
