Put in charge during the Time, Inc. days, he steered it through Meredith Corporation’s (NYSE:MDP) purchase of the storied brand. After Fortune’s sale to Chatchaval Jiaravanon in 2018, Murray leads an independent company for the first time, on its 90th year of operation. He shares his vision for Fortune’s future, and how media has evolved from his first reporting experiences to Fortune’s global network of events, digital content, and of course the iconic magazine.
