Transatlantic Wireless Market Data
This month, ICE is launching an ultra-low latency data offering between markets in the U.S. and Europe. This end-to-end market data solution will combine a system of wireless networks on each continent with high-speed transatlantic fiber to connect markets in the U.S. and Europe. This solution will allow customers to work with a single vendor and will help them to shave significant latency and simplify operational challenges while optimizing their costs.
The first available route will transport critical market data eastbound from Aurora to multiple locations across the London Metro Area and Europe, such as Frankfurt and Bergamo. ICE is planning to launch additional hybrid routes between Europe and the U.S. (both Eastbound and Westbound) in 2024.
Toronto to New Jersey Wireless
Our cross-border wireless service is getting a major upgrade this fall. ICE is migrating our existing Toronto to New Jersey wireless services to a recently built, all-new network. The new network will deliver lower latency and improved reliability to all end points.
The new network also adds an endpoint at the Equinix "TR2" data center in Toronto and will support a wider variety of bandwidth configurations to meet each customer’s unique needs.
Transpacific Wireless
Our Chicago to Tokyo/Shanghai wireless hybrid services is expected to see a significant latency improvement this quarter as our "Go West" partner deploys upgraded wireless and fiber segments into the network. These upgrades are designed to improve latency for ICE's bandwidth services to Tokyo as well as our market data offerings in both Tokyo and Shanghai.
Chicago Premium Shared Hosting
We are now offering Premium shared hosting in CH1 at 350 East Cermak. With this addition, it completes our premium hosting offering in key derivatives locations. This offering provides a turnkey solution allowing customers to work with a single vendor for space, power, hardware, connectivity, and market data. We leverage layer 1 switching technology to offer ultra-low-latency access to local market data and order entry gateways.
Europe – MTS
ICE is planning to offer connectivity to MTS after the move of the platform to Bergamo next year. We are planning to make a test environment available for IGN customers in early 2024.
Europe – Warsaw Stock Exchange
ICE will continue to support connectivity to the Warsaw Stock Exchange during their migration scheduled for next year. This migration includes new locations (Equinix WA2 and WA3) and new platform (WATS). Details to follow as this progresses.
We are undertaking certain operational and commercial updates in our Basildon data center to facilitate the offering of wholesale and retail hosting space.
